The total number of views of the online broadcasts of the events of the first two days of the Rachmaninoff International Youth Piano Competition has reached over 400,000. To recall, all the events of the Competition are broadcast online on the official website https://rachmaninoff-youth.com and in its official group in the social network VKontakte, as well as on the Chinese portal Music Today.

“The team that came to us in Veliky Novgorod, those wonderful young colleagues, are well aware that they are winners already. We have no first, second, or third prizes, we have at least diploma holders and laureates. This is what we love very much: when, I hope, after the competition each of you will remain in this sacred place for every artist – on stage. The stage will always be in your life, I’m sure of it,” said Artistic Director Denis Matsuev at the Opening Ceremony of the Competition.

Please be reminded that the Rachmaninoff International Youth Piano Competition will be held from in March 21-26, 2023 – the year of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Sergei Rachmaninoff – in Veliky Novgorod, the composer’s native region.

The competition is organized and held by ROSCONCERT with the support of the Government of the Novgorod Region.
