The Artistic director of the competition Denis Matsuev, the governor of the Novgorod region Andrei Nikitin and the jury members Vladimir Ovchinnikov, Frederic Kempf, Viktor Yeresko, Zhania Aubakirova, Ta Quang Dong, Maxim Mogilevsky, Vladimir Tropp and Valery Pyasetsky laid flowers at the monument to S. Rachmaninoff – in the composer’s homeland Veliky Novgorod, where the Rachmaninoff International Youth Piano Competition is taking place these days.
