The International Youth Piano Competition named after Sergei Rachmaninoff will be broadcast live

The largest Russian social network VKontakte has become a partner of the International Youth Piano Competition named after Sergei Rachmaninoff.

Online broadcasts of all stages of the music competition will be available live on the official website of the Competition https: https://rachmaninoff-youth.com as well as in its official VKontakte community https: https://vk.com/rachmaninoff_youth.

In addition to live broadcasts of the competition events the viewers will see interviews with guests and participants, diaries of the competition events, reports about the competition and other exclusive videos.
Cooperation with VKontakte will allow all lovers of musical art to join the Competition from anywhere in the world – this does not require registration on the VKontakte social network.

“We’ve already had the first and very successful experience of cooperation at the International Competition of Pianists, Composers and Conductors named after Sergei Rachmaninoff which took place in the summer of 2022 in Moscow. And we are happy to continue and develop our cooperation with VKontakte,” says Denis Matsuev, artistic director of the Competition.

The International Youth Piano Competition named after Sergei Rachmaninoff will be held in March 21-26 in Veliky Novgorod – the homeland of the famous composer. The competition is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Sergei Rachmaninoff.

Belarus

Born in 2004 in Minsk (Belarus).

A student of the Republican College of Music at the Belarus State Academy of Music.

Already at the age of 7 she gave her first solo concert performing 11 pieces of the “Children’s Album” by P. Tchaikovsky.

A laureate of numerous competitions and a winner of special prizes, including: the X International Competition for Young Pianists named after T. Nikolaeva (the Grand Prix and a special prize for the best performance of a piece by T. Nikolaeva, Bryansk), a three times laureate of the International Children’s Competition “Music of Hope” (Belarus, Gomel), the XXI International Competition for Young Pianists named after Maria Yudina (I prize. St. Petersburg), the XXVIII International Competition for Young Musicians maned after D. Kabalevsky (I prize. Samara).

A scholarship holder of the Yuri Rozum International Charity Foundation.

Along with improving her piano skills, Iris also tries herself as a composer of piano music.
